OFCA Associate Membership
Companies engaged in the manufacture or sale of public safety apparatus, supplies, or services, and/or individuals or businesses otherwise interested in the field of fire or emergency services shall be eligible for Associate Membership in the Oklahoma Fire Chiefs Association upon Executive Board approval.
Cost to become an OFCA Associate Member is $325 per year. Membership runs from July 1 to June 30 and renewal statements are sent out each July. Please note that the regular billing cycle for Associate Members is from July to June each year, regardless of the time of year you first submit an application. If you have any questions, please contact Trisha Chain at [email protected] or 405-424-1452.
Associate Member Benefits
- Associate Members are invited to attend the OFCA Annual Conference each year with a discounted rate on display space and can include up to two banquet tickets if they are requested. This includes being listed as a sponsor of a one-hour Associate Member Reception which precedes the banquet. Dues must be paid by January 1st or Associate Membership will be forfeited until the next billing cycle (July), and will therefore disqualify your company from participating at the OFCA Conference.
- OFCA Associate Members are listed in the OSFA’s Annual Membership Directory. The Membership Directory is a listing of all volunteer, part paid, and paid fire departments and fire chiefs who belong to the Association. However, membership must be paid by September 1st to be included in the directory.
- Associate Members receive one copy of the OFCA News, a newsletter sent to approximately 600 active and retired fire chiefs and chief officers across the state who belong to the Oklahoma Fire Chiefs Association.
- Associate Members are invited to purchase advertisements in the OFCA News. News items that provide valuable information to the OFCA membership (subject to the editors’ discretion) can also be printed at no expense.
Associate Member Application
All new companies desiring to be an Associate Member MUST be approved by the OFCA Executive Board. The OFCA will not recognize any company as an Associate Member without this approval.
