NEW Associate Member Application

All companies engaged in the manufacture or sale of apparatus, appliances or devices for fire prevention, fire protection or fire fighting, and other kindred organizations, are eligible to join the Oklahoma State Firefighters Association as an Associate Member.

Associate Member dues run from July 1 - June 30 of each year and renewal statements are sent out each July. 

ALL NEW COMPANIES/VENDORS DESIRING TO BE AN ASSOCIATE MEMBER, MUST
BE APPROVED BY THE EXECUTIVE BOARD.

THE OSFA WILL NOT RECOGNIZE ANY
COMPANY AS AN ASSOCIATE MEMBER WITHOUT THIS APPROVAL!

The cost of becoming an Associate Member is $275.OO a year, which includes a one-hour Associate Member Reception each year at the OSFA's Annual June convention. These dues also provide for exhibit space for our Associate Member's Company at this Convention.

Members are entitled to the following benefits:

• An annual membership card for the firm or company.
Individual membership cards will be provided to sales personnel upon request.

• Associate Members are invited to attend the OSFA Annual Convention each year in June, with a discounted rate on display space (if applicable).

• A copy of the OSFA Membership Directory is mailed to Associate Members annually.

The Membership Directory is a listing of all volunteer, part-paid and paid fire departments and Fire Chiefs who belong to the Association and are members of the Oklahoma State Firefighters Retirement & Pension System. Additional city information, such as addresses for the mayor or city clerk, telephone, email and FAX numbers are included in the directory. The directory is a valuable source of information and is often used as a mailing list by Associate Members.

• Associate Members also receive a listing in the Membership Directory at no additional charge.

• Associate Members receive a copy of the Oklahoma Firefighter, a  newspaper which is published ten times per year and sent to approximately 15,000 active and retired firefighters across the state who belong to the Oklahoma State Firefighters Association.

• Associate Members are eligible to purchase advertisement space in the Oklahoma Firefighter.

News items that provide valuable information to the OSFA membership (subject to the editors’ discretion) may also be printed at no expense.
