CITY OF BROKEN ARROW FIRE CHIEF
The City of Broken Arrow, OK (population 93,000) is seeking applicants for Fire Chief. The Fire Chief reports to the City Manager and is responsible for planning, organizing and directing a Fire/Emergency Medical Service Department with 135 employees located at 6 stations and an operating budget of $12.3 M. The department provides fire suppression, prevention and emergency medical service. Qualified candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in fire science, public administration or a related field and 6 or more years of progressively responsible experience including experience managing and directing a municipal fire department; or, any combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for the job. Salary range is $100,000 to $121,000 depending upon qualifications. Resumes may be submitted to the Human Resources Director, P.O.
