CANUTE ANNUAL FISH FRY FUNDRAISER
April 16,2010 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Canute Fire Dept. on 4th St in Canute,Ok. Exit 47 from I-40 south to 4 way stop, west to 4th St, 1 block south. This is our 50th anniversary for the Fire Dept and the 25th anniversary for the Fish Fry. This is by Donation--whatever, if any, you can afford. FANG-TASTIC 49th ANNUAL WAURIKA RATTLESNAKE HUNT
Festivities start Friday night, April 9th and continue all day Sat and Sun, April 10-11. Featuring James White and the Outlaw Handlers from Grandbury, TX; Daring feats of courage in pit full of live rattlesnakes; Butcher shop for meat, hides and rattles; Concession with deep fired rattlesnake meat; Get your photo taken with a live diamond back rattlesnake; Carnival, gifts and souvenirs; Sacking contest. Prizes for longest snake, most rattlers, shortest snake. MENO FIRE & RESCUE 32nd ANNUAL PANCAKE & WHOLE HOG SAUSAGE SUPPER
Meno Fire and Rescue along with the Ringwood Masonic Lodge are holding their 32nd Annual Pancake and Whole Hog Sausage Supper on April 10, 2010 at the Meno gym from 5 to 7p.m.. They will be serving pancakes, whole hog sausage, homemade maple, blueberry, and dutch honey syrup. Cost is by donation. Oklahoma Blood Institute will be on hand to accept blood donations from 4 to 7p.m.
MACOMB VFD ANNUAL SPRING PLANT SALE
Variety of flowering plants and some vegetables for sale on April 24 & 25 and May 1 & 2nd from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the corner of Independence and Harrison in Shawnee. We will also have gourd birdhouses for sale.
MEEKER FD ANNUAL BBQ & CITY WIDE GARAGE SALE
Come and join us on May 8th, 2010 at the Meeker Fire Station. 510 W. Carl Hubbell Blvd. The Meeker Fire Department will host its annual BBQ in conjunction with the city wide garage sale. Sides of Ribs will be ready for sale Friday morning. On Saturday May 8th we will have chopped pork sandwiches, chopped pork dinners, and rib dinners for sale.
