Volunteer Firefighter Medical Screening - Oklahoma State Firefighters Association

This Project WILL END in November 2010. If you have been waiting until the last minute to inquire or apply... well, Chief, IT'S THE LAST MINUTE!!

ONLY active, Volunteer Firefighters are eligible to participate in this program. However, only the Fire Chief may submit the application for a physical!

It is intended that the newest volunteer firefighters should receive these physicals first, with those who are most senior, last.

Fire Chiefs wanting to participate in this project should first submit an application. We will advise you which firefighters have been selected. The Fire Chief will be called and the logistics will be worked out to expedite these physicals.

This activity is NOT a pass/fail issue, but rather a record that the volunteer firefighter submitted to a very detailed physical... which will result in a benefit for their own welfare and for the welfare of the firefighters they work with each and every day.
