Critical Incident Stress Management

OCRN - Serving Each Other

SOSOklahoma Crises Response Network (OCRN) is made possible by a network of combined effort of peer volunteers from Fire Service, Law Enforcement, EMS and Schools.

When a critical incident occurs in Oklahoma and the affected agency notifies OCRN, a response team with the appropriate peer volunteers is engaged. In a number of cases peers from different disciplines are needed, combining fire service with law enforcement and EMS. In incidents affecting schools, OCRN will respond a team of trained school counselors.
The service OCRN provides is free to all agencies, departments and school systems. OCRN volunteers are experienced and trained in crisis intervention having personal experiences dealing with critical incidents in there own careers.
OCRN has responded throughout Oklahoma to tragedies involving all of the different disciplines we serve. Even the smallest volunteer department has access to trained crisis interventionist.
